Another weekend of practice is scheduled this weekend at the Sportsdrome. However, Saturday is looking like a washout. Sunday looks as though things will clear out but a little chilly at 50 for a high. Registration and tech will go on even if it rains.

Everything at the track has been canceled for Saturday. No practice, no tech, and no registration. Everything is still on for Sunday from 1 to 5

Sunday looks like is a go. It will be chilly however with a high of 50 and a little breeze. I'll have updates on the Race8 FB Page today.

I will be putting some info and some overviews of some of the racing action once we get the season started here. We have started out the season with two cancelations. This Saturday for the Keep Kool 100 has a chance of storms as of right now. Remember though, this week the raindate is for Sunday afternoon.

There is a practice session that has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 11th from 5 to 8. It will be $20 to enter the pits.

The races for April 21st has been updated to include 8 divisions of racing. The Outlaws will be the main event with the 72 lap Frank Scott Tribute race. Also in action will be the Xtreme 8, Oval Xtreme, Dromers, Legends, FWd Fun Stock, Ford Division, and the FWD8. The Fords will run two features with one on the oval and one on the F8. This means 9 features all together. A schedule of events will be released soon. I can tell you that the pits will open at 12.

Sportsdrome is off this week because of the Derby going on in Louisville. Next week, May 12th, it will be Fan Appreciation Night. Just $5 admission with kids free. The on-track autograph/meet & greet should start around 6:30ish. I'll be set up on the track too with the Race8 shirts and getting people signed up for the Club8. The four regular divisions will be running including the TNT Screenprint Xtreme 8, ICA Dumpsters Oval Xtreme, Ky Clutch Dromers, and the Wright Mechanical FWD Fun Stock.
