This feature was quite wild and exciting and if anything for a preview for the season for figure 8 racing this should be a very exciting season with lots of hard racing and intense crossover action. Some notes from the action was Ben getting spun on the first restart around lap 5 or so and battling back up to about 7th or 8th and having to cut through large packs at the intersection. During this there were multiple times where 4 or 5 car packs of fast cars were coming together at the crossover with another pack of 4 or 5 cars as well making for great action. There was a crossover crash involving the 42 of Moore and 28 of Shackleford which took Moore out of 2nd place and Shack was able to pit and continue on. Artie had a tough break early on as it appeared maybe the fuel cap was left off as he was leaking fuel and black flagged until the red was thrown to get him to the pits. I am excited to see the weekly field probably grow in the coming weeks and more so once we hit some bigger races and actual summer time.
